The one that started it all. Butter browned on the stove and rested overnight, semi-sweet chocolate and 74 percent bittersweet disks, flaked salt on top.

Named after my dog Winston.

HOW THEY ARE MADE

Each bath takes three days to make.

Butter goes on the stove and browns, then chills overnight. The next day, the butter is reheated and mixed with the other ingredients to become dough, and the dough goes into the freezer for another full day. On the third day they get baked, packed, and handed over.

HOW TO GET THEM

Cookies are sold in drops via Hotplate. When a drop opens, everything is available at once and it usually sells out in a couple of minutes.
